Saint Agnes Parish

This past year has been one of challenges and changes for everyone. The Partnering of

the Parishes of St. Agnes, St. Basil the Great and Christ the King brought with it many

systemic changes in the administering and record keeping of the three parishes. In his

letter, the bishop outlined the parameters for the partnering process, one of which was

that all the administrative offices be located at Chris the King in Houtzdale, PA. The

need for office space outgrew the limited spaces used just for Christ the King. With

thought and consultation of an architect, it has been determined that the current floor

plan of the Rectory does not lend itself to the two needs of space: living quarters for

three priests and office space to accommodate the storage of records for finance, 17

cemeteries and other parish information. In order to better accommodate the expanded 

needs of the shared office we need to reconfigure the rectory space to better match our

 staff and meet the needs of the Parishes.
