The Foster Care Ministry of ArchKCK seeks to mobilize the Church to serve vulnerable children in the foster care system by:

• Inspiring more Catholic families to open their hearts and homes to love and protect children in need until they can safely return home or be adopted.
• Wrapping foster families in support (spiritual, material, relational) so they can focus on caring for their children.

Your generosity strengthens foster families, supports vulnerable youth, and empowers parishes to respond with Christ’s love.

$100 — Support a Youth in Athletics or Encourage a Foster Parent - A donation of $100 helps cover CYO or other athletic program fees for a child in foster care—giving them the chance to belong, build confidence, and experience the joy of teamwork.  A $100 donation can also provide a scholarship for one foster parent to attend the 9th Annual RE: Conference—a powerful, hope-filled weekend co-sponsored by the Archdiocese, offering real encouragement, renewal, and community for foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

$250 — Launch a Parish Foster Care Ministry - Your $250 gift equips a parish to start a Foster Care Ministry, providing the training, tools, and resources needed to welcome vulnerable children and support foster families right in the heart of the community.

$500 — Bless Foster & Adoptive Families at Ministry Events - A gift of $500 helps us host bi-annual support events for foster and adoptive families—complete with dinner, activities, childcare, speakers, and meaningful gifts—creating a space where these families feel seen, valued, and supported.

$500 — Build an Emergency Vehicle Repair Fund for a Teen Aging Out - Your $500 donation helps a teen aging out of foster care establish a much-needed emergency fund for unexpected vehicle repairs—removing barriers to work, school, and independence.

$750 — Sponsor a "Sound of Hope" Movie Night - A gift of $750 allows us to host a Sound of Hope Movie Night, an inspiring parish-friendly event that educates and empowers Catholics of all ages to see how everyone can do something to support children in foster care.
