Blessed Sacrament Church

Blessed Sacrament Parish was founded in 1898 but began the construction of its current church in 1925. The first Mass was celebrated on Christmas Eve, 1926. This year, as we continue to prepare for our centennial Mass, damage from hail has affected our historic tile roof and beautiful stained glass. The layer of protective glass outside several windows on the west side of the church, including the "Noah" window and the large "Adam - Melchizedek - Moses" window near the side entrance are allowing water to enter and damage our walls and new hardwood floor. 

Insurance will cover most of the costs, but while we have our technicians on site to install new exterior protective glass, we are going to take the opportunity to restore the interior stained glass as well. Savings from grants will allow us to defray most of this cost, but we still require about $8,000 more in order to finish the job on these two windows.
