💛 Help Rebuild the Catholic Charities Catholic Community Center of Galliano

For the past four years since Hurricane Ida, the Catholic Charities Catholic Community Center of Galliano has continued to serve our neighbors from temporary spaces — ensuring families in need still receive food, clothing, and care when they need it most.

Now, thanks to FEMA approval, we are finally ready to rebuild our Food Bank and Thrift Store at a new location — with construction beginning in late Fall 2025! This new space will allow us to expand our storage capacity for food, produce, and frozen goods, ensuring we can better serve our community year-round and respond effectively in times of disaster.

We’re asking for your support to help us rebuild and equip the new facility with essential items not covered by FEMA reimbursement. Your generosity will help us purchase:

• Commercial 36KW Generator (with installation): $24,630
   To ensure our food bank can continue operating through storms and power outages.
• 8 Rolling Clothing Racks: $976
   To replace those destroyed by Hurricane Ida and better organize thrift store donations.
• 3 Heavy-Duty Rolling Table Carts (Stainless Steel): $1,710
   For food staging and sorting during distribution days.
• 2 Wall-Mounted Sorting Bins (36”): $220
   For organizing socks, accessories, and other small clothing items.
