In January 2022, we completed the 4 year long renovation of the former Good Shepherd Parish, and made the long-awaited move into our new administrative offices located at 809 Calhoun Street. We immediately hit the ground running with our Next Level Services. NLS is a heart-grown initiative that works to assist unhoused clients with rising up out of homelessness. We are building valuable Community Partnerships that are excited about partnering with each client in their journey off the streets. Since January 2022, we have assisted over 300 clients with obtaining their Critical Documents (ID, SS card, birth certificate) that has allowed them to obtain housing, employment, and benefits. Some have even taken the courageous step to get assistance with their alcohol and/or drug addiction, as well as working with MIRCI for any outstanding mental health issues. We have also partnered with the Richland County Public Defenders Office for individuals to clear up any outstanding legal issues, so their next steps will be fruitful.
