Detroit Black Catholic Ministry

Black Catholic Ministries offers programs and outreach to diverse communities of Catholics throughout the Archdiocese of Detroit.

We are committed to improving the spiritual and social needs of black Catholics and joining those needs with the mission of the entire archdiocese—sharing Christ in and through the church. As Christ’s disciples, we also attempt to share our culture with others through evangelization and leadership programs.

Our ministry works closely with the National Black Catholic Congress and black Catholic ministries from other dioceses throughout the United States.
