This #iGiveCatholic Giving Tuesday, we invite you to help us keep our wheels turning for those who need us most.

At El Puente Hispanic Ministry, we believe that transportation should never be a barrier to accessing essential services. Through our Transportation Program, we provide safe and reliable rides to and from medical and legal appointments for community members in need. This vital program ensures that individuals and families, especially those facing financial or language barriers, can attend appointments that impact their health, safety, and overall well-being.

Each year, our Transportation Program costs an average of $21,000 to operate. This Giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise $10,000 to help cover these essential expenses and keep this life-changing service on the road.

Serving the Hispanic community in Central Missouri, El Puente reaches those who are vulnerable or isolated due to language, cultural, or economic barriers. Through advocacy, education, interpretation, and accompaniment, we empower individuals and families to access essential services and to feel welcomed and valued in both the Church and society. 

The mission of El Puente-Hispanic Ministry is to make present the healing love of Jesus the Incarnate Word, promoting human dignity through a ministry of presence and outreach to the Hispanic community.
