Guadalupe Clinic serves the uninsured and working poor in Wichita and other surrounding communities. Our patients do not receive government insurance (Medicare and Medicaid) and fall below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Our services are completely free, without any sliding scale or hidden fees. We ask each patient for a $5 donation, but never turn anyone away.

Over 40 years ago, Guadalupe Health Station was opened by a group of volunteer nurses as a wellness clinic to serve an underprivileged area of Wichita. Like any start up, they quickly realized their model needed adjusted so they re-branded as Guadalupe Clinic - a primary care facility that was 100% donation-based and driven by volunteer providers.

Over the years, Guadalupe has continued to use this model of volunteer-based care. Outside of a modest staff, all medical providers, specialists, nurses, and students volunteer their time to treat patients. The KU medical students (JayDocs) also host clinics on the first Wednesday of every month and every Saturday.

Specialty services are located in clinic as well, and through referral programs like Project Access and the Medication Assistance Program (MAP). Primary care services provided include diabetic management, diagnostic testing and imaging, behavioral counseling, pharmacy consultations, physician visits, pregnancy testing, and women's wellness, and specialty services include allergy, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynecology, orthopedics, physical therapy, podiatry, pulmonology, and urology.

Patient visits are expected to continue to rise, as they do every year, and our new strategic plan aims to add a line of dental care in clinic.
