Make an Impact

This Giving Tuesday, consider making a difference in the lives of Spanish-speaking Catholics in the Diocese of Gaylord. 

We are raising money to produce a kit for each of our 73 parishes, allowing more Catholics to connect with their local parish and better participate in Mass. 

These kits will include: 

-Bilingual Missalettes, helping our Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters engage in Mass at every parish

-Spanish-language posters, helping people connect to the Diocese of Gaylord Hispanic Ministry and its services

-A workshop for priests who are interested in learning to celebrate the Mass in Spanish, leading to more opportunities for everyone in our Diocese to participate in the "Source and Summit" of our Catholic faith.

About Us

The Hispanic Ministry of the Diocese of Gaylord is the Catholic outreach to serve the Spanish-speaking population in Northern Michigan, accompanying them in faith, sacraments and advocacy. The Hispanic Ministry is based at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel in Traverse City. The Diocese also hosts a monthly Spanish language Mass in the Cadillac / Lake City/ Manton area.
