About Hope and Purpose Ministries

Hope and Purpose Ministries is dedicated to bringing the love and message of Jesus Christ to the world — starting right here at home in New Orleans. Through our outreach programs, we provide food, clothing, and compassionate support to the homeless and those in need, offering hope, dignity, and encouragement to those facing difficult circumstances. 

We also reach out to recovery clinics, primarily serving young men and women who are battling addiction, by providing clothing and helping them take meaningful steps toward rebuilding their lives with confidence and faith. This is intimate, hands-on ministry—an essential part of our call to serve the poor.

Beyond our local community, Hope and Purpose Ministries reaches across borders through the St. John Paul II Hope and Purpose School in Kidubuli, Uganda, East Africa, where we are working to bring clean water and proper sanitation to the students. We have over 360 students from first through eighth grade, and our goal is to provide a clean, safe environment where the children can learn and grow each day in the Catholic faith. These efforts will protect the health, dignity, and future of the children who attend this school—giving them hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Through Hope and Purpose Ministries, our team continues to further the ministry of Jesus — proclaiming the Kingdom of God (Matthew 10:7), encouraging others that God has a plan and purpose for their lives (Jeremiah 29:11), and helping heal the broken-hearted (John 10:10b).

Hope and Purpose Ministries was created to teach, mentor, and inspire people through the creation, publication, and distribution of Scripturally sound Catholic materials in all forms of media, for the purpose of building the Kingdom of God through evangelization, catechesis, and education. We also grow the Kingdom through person-to-person witnessing, teaching, and mentoring in prayer opportunities, conferences, retreats, missions, and other speaking engagements.

At the heart of all we do is the conviction that every person is made in the image and likeness of God and has a divine purpose. By sharing the Gospel, teaching truth, and serving those in need, Hope and Purpose Ministries continues to bring hope to the hopeless, healing to the brokenhearted, and purpose to the lost.
