$1,200,000 Goal

We were founded in 1910 in Mexico City by Venerable María del Refugio Aguilar y Torres to spread the love of the Blessed Sacrament through the Christian education of children and youth. We are a contemplative-active, international Institute of Pontifical Right, with more than 400 Sisters in 12 countries. Here in the United States, our Regional House and Formation House are located in the Diocese of Baton Rouge and our Sisters serve in the Dioceses of Baton Rouge, St. Augustine, Toledo, Cleveland, and San Antonio.

In 2021, Bishop Michael G. Duca welcomed our U.S. Immaculate Conception Region to build a new Novitiate House in the Diocese of Baton Rouge, Louisiana due to our increase in vocations. This two-story House of Formation was designed to meet the needs of our growing Community, with the capacity to house up to 34 Sisters. The building fund cost was $5.2 Million and we began to raise funds.

In 2023, we broke ground.

In 2024, the Sisters began to move into the new House of Formation.

Now, there are 10 Sisters in Formation living in the House along with two Formators. With plenty of room to continue growing, we pray for your support to help us pay off the remaining $1.2 Million of the building cost. All the proceeds from our iGiveCatholic campaign will go towards this need.
