The Mercy Center for Women provides a safe, supportive home while helping those in need rebuild their lives after homelessness and other challenges including domestic abuse, behavioral health issues, and/or addiction. The Mercy Center believes in the transformative power of compassion, understanding, and resilience. Their dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and supporters work tirelessly to create a nurturing environment where those in need can find solace, healing, and the tools they need to build a brighter future.

Since 1994, the Mercy Center for Women has assisted more than 4,000 women and their children turn the page on homelessness. With the addition of the Mercy Anchor Community Center in 2023, the Mercy Center for women doubled its capacity to house those in need. This addition to their campus also serves as a neighborhood oasis, providing services and resources for the entire community.

Who We Are

Mission: Mercy Center for Women is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy and is committed to enhancing the dignity of each person we serve through the healing of body, mind, and spirit.

Mercy Center for Women provides:
*Safe and Supportive transitional housing, education, and counseling for homeless women with or without children.
*Connections with social service agencies and volunteers to form a network of ongoing support, mentoring, and education to our residents and women in the community.
*An environment based on spirituality and ethical values.
