Hope Begins With You
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Erie
Gives Day 2024 raised over $150,000 for the Mercy Center for Women. We are
deeply grateful for the 534 donors who share our belief in empowering women,
men, and children to build brighter futures.
We know we are part of a larger community of nonprofits
doing vital work across Erie—and we’re honored to stand alongside them. As we
look ahead, September 2025 marks another exciting chapter in our
mission: the expansion of our campus through the purchase of the former Holy
Rosary Rectory—now known as Brandy’s Corner. This new facility will
provide housing for an additional 10 to 12 individuals, bringing our total
capacity to 85 residents from all walks of life.
Your gift helps us provide more than just shelter—it offers hope,
stability, and a path forward for families experiencing homelessness,
survivors of domestic violence, and those recovering from addiction.
What We Provide:
- Safe,
supportive transitional housing for homeless women, with or without
children
- Permanent
supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing
homelessness
- Education,
case management, and life-skills support services
- Connections
to community partners and volunteers for long-term mentoring and
guidance
- A
nurturing environment rooted in spirituality, accountability, and
ethical value
We invite you to stand with us this Erie Gives Day. Hope
begins with you—and every gift changes a life.
