Holy Rosary - St Richard Catholic Parish

Our Lady of Holy Rosary - St. Richard is the merger of two parishes that became effective in November 2010.  This unification brought many blessings and also some challenges to our parish. We now have two locations with several buildings and grounds to maintain. Our main sanctuary is distinctive for being full of natural light that comes through a custom-made skylight,  which makes our building architecture so unique.  This light reminds us about Jesus, the light of the world.  The current skylight is a replacement installed after Hurricane Andrew destroyed the original one.  This was manufactured by a local company in polycarbonate without insulation and is leaking. The humidity and heat that go in not only deteriorate the roof structure, but also affect the performance of the air conditioner.  In addition, the church roof is 16 years old and is due for replacement.  Your donation to this campaign will help us preserve our Lord's house in good condition so that you and your family can come to worship in a safe environment.
