Parish of St Maximilian Kolbe Marmora NJ

The St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish Religious Education Program is important for both spiritual fulfillment and understanding in our parish children's lives. Our program continues to provides a framework for our children to connect with their faith, culture, and beliefs.

This year  our Youth Group is a renewed initiative open to all 7th to 12th grade students who wish to participate. Their kick off bonfire meeting was held on October 10th was a great success where 25 young men and women  attended a fun night of roasted marshmallows, pizza, and games. The youth group have ambition to grow their meetings to include events such as Ski Trips, Great Adventure Youth Rally, and possibly even Youth Mission Trips.

Throughout the year our Religious Education families and the Youth Group are invited to be involved in Parish events such as volunteering at Vacation Bible School, Living Stations, Youth Choir, Blessing Bags, Rise Against Hunger, Peanut Butter and Jelly for the Rescue Mission.

The youth of our parish are quite literally the future of our church and of our communities; so we believe that building a strong sense of community and personal responsibility at a young age which is also rooted in faith is one the cornerstones of positive youth development.

Donations are greatly appreciated and will go a long way to help the religious education programs as well as the youth group with their activities throughout the year.

Donations are being accepted between November 17 and December 9, 2025.
