High School Facilities Upgrade

• We are updating the cafeteria floors and two adjoining rooms over Christmas break.

• Total project cost: $22,000+, and we only need $6,000 more to complete it.

• The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston is generously assisting with asbestos removal in the two smaller rooms.

Elementary School Classroom Updates

• Help us update desks, tables, and chairs for a clean, consistent look for students and teachers.

Tuition Angels

• With a 15% increase in enrollment from 2024–25, there is an increased need for tuition assistance.

• Your gift ensures that more families can access a Catholic education, making a difference for students who might not otherwise have this opportunity.

We’re Building a Stronger, Safer, and More Connected Crusader Community! 

This year, Parkersburg Catholic Schools has continued to grow and improve—thanks to the incredible support of our Crusader family! Together, we’ve completed several important upgrades that enhance safety, communication, and the overall experience for our students and staff.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far at the High School:

• Installed new front doors to provide a safe and welcoming entrance

• Added ballistic film to door windows around the building

• Replaced fire escape stair treads for improved safety and accessibility

• Performed boiler maintenance and are updating each classroom’s heating systems for better comfort

• Added new phones in every classroom for improved communication and emergency readiness

• Installed new bleachers in the gym, to increase seating and safetly with handrails

The Elementary School has received some updates too:

• Gym floor refinished, giving new life to a space full of energy and school spirit

• Added more security cameras and a new viewing system in the office for greater safety

• Every classroom’s Fund-a-Need project was fulfilled through our Cash Drawing event

• Implemented improved testing systems to support more individualized learning for our students
