If you’ve ever walked through the doors of the Sacred Heart Dedeaux Retreat Center, you know—you walk out different. Affectionately called the “Dedeaux Hilton,” there is something sacred about that space and the encounters that happen within its walls.

For decades, people of all ages have gathered there on retreats, each one seeking renewal, peace, and a deeper connection with Christ. And if you’ve stayed there, you know it’s not the comfortable beds, the 5-star bathrooms, or the sometimes-temperamental sound system that make it special. It’s the conversations shared over meals. It’s the chill of the chapel that somehow leaves your heart warm. It’s the sound of palancas being read aloud, the crucifix on the stage reminding you of the One who gave everything for us. It’s the friendships born there—lifelong, faith-filled, and real. It’s the freedom to open your heart and let the Holy Spirit move.

The Dedeaux Hilton has been a place of grace and transformation for generations. Now, we want to ensure it remains that sacred space for years to come. While we cherish its rustic charm, we also recognize the need to update and improve our hospitality and comfort so that all who enter can encounter Christ more deeply.

Renovations to be done by necessity:

-New tables and chairs for the main room (~$10,000)

-Update microphone/sound system (~$20,000-30,000)

-Replace kitchen flooring (TBD)

-Other (new couches, fresh coat of paint, other incidentals)
