Saint Mary School

St. Mary's elementary school traces its beginnings to 1937 when three Sisters of St. Joseph, the Third order of St. Francis, moved into the parish house. They built an addition to make room for two classrooms and had 14 students to start. In 1948 there was not enough room, so the parish raised funds and started construction on a new school building that year. The new building had four classrooms and then added two more. In 1960, there was need for room again, and a new addition was built. This added six new classrooms and the gym/cafeteria, and is what our present-day building is. In 1986, the parish offices moved into the school building. In 1986, the preschool programs were established.

Our school would not be complete with our parent and parishioner volunteers and partners.
