Welcome to the annual 2025 I Give Catholic event at San Juan Del Rio and nationwide. This is the biggest fundraiser our Parish participates in each year. For the past four years, our Church has finished in the top spot for the State of Florida, and ranked in the top twenty nationwide! Our recent success is a testimony to the leadership of our Pastor, Father Peter Akin-Otiko, along with the guidance of Father Clay Ludwig and Father Edwin Nosakhare Omorogbe, our Staff, and especially from Parishioners like you. Together, we can all be proud to say San Juan Del Rio Church is a special place and a destination where all can feel at home. 

 

Some of the projects that you have brought to reality recently are:

 

• Replacing the 15 year old Church Air Conditioning Chiller with a modern, energy efficient system
• The beginning phases of an auxiliary parking area and access road have been completed.
• Additional security enhancements to maximize the safety of the entire campus
• The majority of the Church sound system is ordered, and the goal is to have all major items in place prior to the Christmas season.
• A fiber optic project for the campus has been completed, allowing better Mass streaming performance and wifi capabilities in the Church for Parishioners to use. 

 

Here are some of the projects we hope you will support with your I Give Catholic donation for 2026:

 

• An outdoor Stations of the Cross for Parishioners to have an intimate remembrance of our Lord’s journey.
• Additional landscaping in the Spring of 2026
• Lighting and safety fencing for the auxiliary parking lot, along with a bridge across the pond for easier access for those walking to Church.
• An improved ministry and storage shed.

 

Together, the success story of San Juan Del Rio Parish continues. Early giving for I Give Catholic begins Monday, November 17th and runs until Tuesday, December 2, the actual day of I Give Catholic giving. Donations may be made by cash, check, or going to the www.igivecatholic.org website. Select Diocese of St. Augustine, City and State (St. Johns, Florida) and press the San Juan Del Rio location. You can also scan the QR Code with your phone camera listed in the bulletin or flyer and it will take you directly to the I Give Catholic website.
