St. Andrew Campus Ministry at Clemson University

Via Fidelis - In the Diocese of Charleston, 2025 is marked as the year to proclaim the faith through evangelization. This way of the faithful in an invitation to share the Kerygma and recommit ourselves to Christ.  Catholic Tigers at Clemson University are embracing this call to mission with joy, perseverance, and service!  Through our vibrant ministry, our students are actively involved in parish life at Saint Andrew, not only through frequent reception of the sacraments, but also by serving in the liturgy, volunteering in faith formation and youth ministry, praying in perpetual adoration at our chapel, and serving our parishioners in a variety of ways.  With the assistance of our FOCUS missionaries, we are continually striving to grow our presence on campus as we share the good news of Jesus Christ through student discipleship, Bible studies, and joyfully living out the faith on campus. Our students are not only preparing for their future careers, but they are also continually striving to do what is good, pursue what is true, and embrace what is beautiful. Their love of Christ naturally overflows into service of the greater community as they provide assistance to the poor, attend both domestic and foreign mission trips, and help out in various service projects around the upstate and beyond.

We are very blessed to be experiencing exponential growth in our campus ministry. In a time when students face confusion from the culture, isolation through an ever growing digital world, and a disregard for the dignity and value of human life, our campus ministry home provides an essential respite. Catholic Tigers is a place for authentic fellowship, support, guidance, encouragement, spiritual formation, and opportunities to strive for holiness.  The spiritual battle for these young souls is real and campus ministry is a crucial piece in helping students not only to retain their faith in college, but also to become flourishing members of our Catholic family!

Your financial support will not only help us to start a fund for our plan to build a space large enough for our quickly growing community, but it will also allow us to provide the necessary financial support required for our students to serve others through service projects, local mission trips, semester retreats, and outreach on campus.  Please join us in this mission to form these young men and women into the saints of tomorrow so that we may better serve the greater community through the virtuous pursuit of the Christian life.
