St. John Vianney School

St. John Vianney School is looking to increase the security measures within the school building.  We currently have doors for all classrooms and offices that have 9 windows within them.  These windows create a space for an unwanted person to make entry into a classroom even through a secure lockdown has been in place.  

There are 14 doors within the building that are in need of being replaced.  These doors are about $1000 each.  New doors would still have a smaller, narrow window so that they follow the Safe Environment standards.  This smaller window would make it impossible for a body to fit through.  

School safety is very important to us.  We annually work with local law enforcement to practice lockdown drills, go over exit routes, and to learn the best practices for our building.  We take this very seriously and want to continue to create an environment that is safe, but still welcoming and secure feeling to our families.
