Friends,

It feels like yesterday when Bishop Jugis blessed the Orbi back in 2016. A friend of the seminary had donated the used Suburban to the new seminary. Since then, this vehicle has carried seminarians, food, and furniture, to name just a few things, all over our diocese.

But now the Orbi must be replaced. The verdict from the most recent visit to the shop was almost ten thousand dollars in repairs. This Suburban has reached the end of the road.

In order to replace it, after trading in the Orbi, we have to raise at least $40,000 to buy a used vehicle of similar capacity. In addition to everything else you do for the seminary, can I ask for your help on this Day of Giving?

Who We Are

The Catholic Church is growing rapidly in western North Carolina, and the need for more priests to serve our growing diocese is great. On March 19, 2016, Bishop Peter J. Jugis founded St. Joseph College Seminary to form priests in the diocese of Charlotte, among the people and parishes they will one day serve.

We have come a long way thanks be to God and the generous friends who have provided everything that we need. With your continued support, we will be able to continue forming noble men with the heart and mind of our Blessed Lord.
