Saint Juan Diego Parish was founded by Abp Rozanski on August 1, 2023, to "attend to the pastoral needs of the faithful of Hispanic language and heritage, particularly those residing in St. Charles County, Lincoln County, and Warren County.”

We have grown from the seed of 40 people at our first Spanish Mass to a thriving community of 450 on any given Sunday, and we continue to grow every Sunday.  

Our parish proudly offers sacramental preparation in Spanish for children, youth, and adults.  We hold celebrations rooted in the traditions of the different Latin American countries represented in our parish, like Día de los Muertos, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Los Reyes Magos. We hold food sales featuring pozole, tamales, pupusas, champurrado, and other delicious foods and drinks that reflect the diversity of our Hispanic population.  

In this parish, all are welcome to come and experience the saving message of Jesus Christ, who spoke through his mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, almost 500 years ago, to her faithful messenger, Saint Juan Diego:

«Know, know for sure my dearest and youngest son, that I am truly the ever perfect Holy Virgin Mary, who has the honor to be the Mother of the one true God for whom we all live, the Creator of people, the Lord of all around us and of what is close to us, the Lord of Heaven, the Lord of Earth»”

“'I want very much that they build my sacred little house here, in which I will show Him, I will exalt Him on making Him manifest, I will give Him to all people in all my personal love, Him that is my compassionate gaze, Him that is my help, Him that is my salvation’.

“'Because truly I am honored to be your compassionate mother, yours and that of all the people that live together in this land, and also of all the other various lineages of men; those who love me, those who cry to me, those who seek me, those who trust in me. Because there truly will I hear their cry, their sadness, to remedy, to cure all their various troubles, their miseries, their pains.”(Spoken by Our Lady of Guadalupe to Saint Juan Diego, as recorded in Nican Mopuaha #25-32, Antonio Valeriano, 1560).

We have set as our goal this year, $3,000 to apply towards helping to replace our outdated and barely functioning security cameras.

La parroquia de San Juan Diego fue fundada por el Arzobispo Rozanski el 1 de agosto de 2023 para atender las necesidades pastorales de los fieles hispanos, especialmente aquellos que residen en los condados de St. Charles, Lincoln, y Warren.

Hemos crecido desde las 40 personas que asistieron a nuestra primera misa en español hasta convertirnos en una próspera comunidad de 450 feligreses cada domingo, y seguimos creciendo cada domingo.

Nuestra parroquia ofrece con orgullo preparación sacramental en español para niños, jóvenes y adultos. Celebramos festividades arraigadas en las tradiciones de los diferentes países latinoamericanos representados en nuestra parroquia, como el Día de los Muertos, la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y los Reyes Magos. Vendemos pozole, tamales, pupusas, champurrado y otras deliciosas comidas y bebidas que representan la diversidad de nuestra población hispana.

En esta parroquia, todos son bienvenidos a venir y experimentar el mensaje de salvación de Jesucristo, quien habló por medio de su madre, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, hace casi 500 años, a su fiel mensajero, San Juan Diego:

«Sabe, sabe con certeza, mi amadísimo y más joven hijo, que yo soy verdaderamente la siempre perfecta Santísima Virgen María, que tiene el honor de ser la Madre del único Dios verdadero para quien todos vivimos, el Creador de los hombres, el Señor de todo lo que nos rodea y de lo que está cerca de nosotros, el Señor del Cielo, el Señor de la Tierra».

«Deseo mucho que construyan aquí mi sagrada casita, en la cual lo mostraré, lo exaltaré al manifestarlo, lo daré a todos con todo mi amor personal, Él que es mi mirada compasiva, Él que es mi auxilio, Él que es mi salvación».

«Porque en verdad me honra ser tu madre compasiva, tuya y de todos los que habitan esta tierra, y también de todos los demás linajes de hombres; los que me aman, los que claman a mí, los que me buscan, los que confían en mí. Porque en verdad escucharé su clamor, su tristeza, para remediar, para curar todas sus diversas aflicciones, sus miserias, sus dolores». Nuestra meta este año es recaudar $3,000 para aplicar a ayudar con reemplazar nuestras cámaras de seguridad que funcionan no muy bien.
