St Mary Parish Yazoo City

Welcome to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Since 1851, our parish has faithfully served the Catholic community of Yazoo City. The church building in which we gather today—now 120 years old—stands as a testament to the resilience and devotion of generations past, having been completely rebuilt following the great Yazoo City fire that once devastated much of the downtown area.

While we are blessed to worship in such a historic and beautiful church, the ongoing preservation of this treasured structure carries significant cost. This year, the funds raised through the #iGiveCatholic campaign will be dedicated to essential repairs to our church roof, ensuring the safety, stability, and longevity of our parish home.
