St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP Georgia) was founded in 1903 by a group of concerned parishioners in Atlanta. Today, we have grown into one of the most trusted, wide-reaching social service organizations in the state. From our Chamblee Support Center to 76 local service hubs staffed by more than 3,200 Vincentians and supported by dedicated volunteers, we bring help and hope directly into communities where it’s needed most.

At St. Vincent de Paul Georgia, we’re neighbors helping neighbors through some of life’s toughest moments. Each year, we provide personal, compassionate support to over 300,000 Georgians—offering help with food, housing, clothing, healthcare, and pathways to long-term stability. Our renewed mission is simple and powerful: to serve our neighbors with love and respect by delivering help, hope, and pathways to self-sufficiency.

SVdP Georgia focuses on feeding, clothing, housing, and healing, meeting neighbors where they are while removing barriers that stand in the way of long-term success. Our work includes:

• The SVdP Georgia Community Pharmacy, providing free prescription medications statewide

• Financial and housing assistance that prevents eviction and helps families move into stable homes

• More than 40 client-choice food pantries, feeding over 93,000 households each year

• Education, financial-empowerment, and stability programs that help families break cycles of poverty

We also operate nine Thrift Stores and our eBay store, Vinny’s Thrift & Collectibles, each one turning everyday purchases into life-changing assistance. A $50 purchase can keep the heat on, put meals on the table, or help a parent access the medicine they need. Every dollar stays local and helps neighbors right where they live.
