Across Central and Eastern Europe, communities are working to rebuild the faith and restore vital church life after decades of communist oppression. Support for these efforts is critical, especially in the face of new challenges like the war in Ukraine, where urgent funding helps with pastoral care and humanitarian needs. Donations enable the Church to support seminaries, youth ministry, social services, pastoral centers, church construction, and Catholic communications. In Albania, for instance, where poverty exposes young women to significant risks, the Church helps provide education and practical skills that enable them to support themselves and their families. Programs like those at the Laura Vicuña Center and Rogationist Fathers’ high school equip young women in Tale with skills in the arts, faith-based activities, and culinary training, offering a pathway to self-sufficiency and a future filled with hope.
