At Catholic Charities’ Assisi Bridge House, we believe in the power of community, redemption, and responsibility. Every day, lives are being rebuilt within our walls. Here, men who have struggled with addiction are given not just treatment—but the chance to rediscover hope, dignity, and purpose.

Our long-term treatment program provides chemically dependent men with a stable, supportive, and sober living environment that bridges them to independent living. Many arrive at our doors homeless or without family support, but they find a new home—and a brotherhood—at Assisi Bridge House. Through counseling, structure, and accountability, they learn to live again with pride and integrity.

We are seeking to raise $50,000 to support the men who call Assisi Bridge House home. While Medicaid provides limited funding for eligible clients, it falls short of covering the full cost of care. After reimbursement, it still costs Assisi Bridge House an additional $800 per month per client to provide the essentials—individual and group counseling, transportation to meetings and appointments, personal items, and daily living support.

About the Catholic Charities Assisi Bridge House: 

The Assisi Bridge House (ABH) is a residential halfway house with 15 beds for chemically dependent men.  The Independent Living Program (ILP) is a transitional residential program for men who have successfully completed the ABH program.

 Men with addictions are given the opportunity to live in a community setting in which they make a commitment to change.  Assisi Bridge House supports the 12-step program of AA and NA.  Each ABH resident works on a monthly treatment plan addressing his personal needs.   Family participation is encouraged.   The staff includes licensed, master's level counselors with many years of experience in treating addictions. 

 ABH is internationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
