Calvary Cemetery

Calvary Cemetery has been serving Central KY for 150 years as of January 14, 2024!  Church Canon Law says there are only 2 sacred places in the entire world:  a blessed altar and a blessed cemetery.  We are fortunate to have Calvary Cemetery all these years!  We love our families here and pray for them everyday as a Spiritual Work of Mercy.  Thank you for your generous and thoughtful donations that allow Calvary to extend the Corporal Work of Mercy of burying the dead as a continuing ministry for family and friends throughout our community and from all over the USA.

This Catholic Cemetery is a holy place. It is blessed by the Church and dedicated to God as a place for worship, prayer, and reflection upon Divine Truth and the purpose of life. It is the resting place until the day of Resurrection for the bodies of the Faithful Departed, once temples of the Holy Spirit, whose souls are now with God. It is a final and continuing profession of faith in God and of membership in the Church by those who have chosen to be buried with fellow believers of “the Household of the Faith”.
