We cannot predict when the next storm or emergency will come-but we can take a responsible step to strengthen our communities for the future.  Here at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, we are no strangers to storms and we know what it means to come together. Hurricanes. Flooding. Lightning strikes. Unexpected emergencies. Living and serving in South Louisiana means we have learned how quickly circumstances can change-and how our community comes together when they do. 

This #iGiveCatholic, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral is joining Catholic churches and schools throughout the Diocese in establishing a dedicated Parish & School Recovery Fund through the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana. Our goal is to raise $774,780  to strengthen our financial resources and help us care for our facilities, respond to significant needs, and continue our mission for generations to come. 

Hurricanes have shown us something remarkable: the strength of our people have taught us how important it is to have resources available when the unexpected happens. Now, we have an opportunity to plan ahead, build our reserves, and protect and strengthen St. Francis de Sales Cathedral for the generations who will follow us .
