At Catholic Charities Odessa, we are committed to uplifting our community by providing essential services and life-changing educational opportunities.

Our Adult Learning Center empowers over 600 students annually, offering GED preparation, ESL, citizenship tutoring, and financial literacy courses. These programs help students achieve self-sufficiency and brighter futures.

Through our Emergency Services Program, we assist over 6,000 individuals each year, providing food, clothing, utility assistance, transportation, and other critical support to stabilize families in crisis.

Who We Are

Mission: To provide immediate assistance and educate to empower for long-term self-sufficiency.

The Emergency Services Program provides food, clothing, toiletries, baby essentials, homeless support, school supplies, school uniforms and Christmas gifts. The program also provides funds for emergency lodging, prescriptions, medical visits, dental appointments, vision appointments, transportation for work, school, and medical appointments. We assist with utility assistance, rent assistance, funding to obtain vital records, identification cards and driver's licenses. We serve over 6,000 individuals every year!

The Cory Learning Center offers online and In-class GED Test Preparation, Life /Workforce Training, Financial Literacy, College tutoring, English as a Second Language and Citizenship Test tutoring. Each student receives an individualized curriculum to ensure their success in the program. Over 400 students successfully complete their course of study yearly!!
