This Giving Tuesday, we invite our community to support our  mothers and babies served at LifeHouse in both Springfield and Cape Girardeau by supporting our Food and Formula Fund. This fund plays a vital role in meeting a growing gap caused by SNAP benefit timing and limitations. 

While LifeHouse pantries provide core necessities, there are important supplemental items that we simply cannot stock consistently. The Food and Formula Fund allows mothers to purchase specialized formula that their babies tolerate best, additional nutritious food to bridge SNAP shortages, and even small but meaningful items that honor their family milestones—such as a birthday cake mix for a child’s celebration or a treat for our mothers. These moments of dignity and care strengthen a mother’s confidence, stability, and hope as she works toward long-term self-sufficiency.

Your Giving Tuesday gift to the Food and Formula Fund is more than a contribution—it is a lifeline of compassion and practical support for families rebuilding their lives. And because donations to this fund qualify for 70% Missouri tax credits, your generosity goes even further, making it possible to help more mothers and children right here in southern Missouri.
