The Black Student Catholic Educational Endowment Trust, one of the funds that provides funding for the Ms. Tessie O. Edwards Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The purpose of this fund is to provide tuition assistance through scholarships to African American students at Omaha metro Catholic High Schools who have a demonstrated need and who wouldn't have otherwise been able to choose a Catholic education.

We aim to increase the endowment trust fund value from $349,400 to $500,000, allowing us to increase the distribution amount and help more students realize a Catholic education.

Your support is vital to this effort and honors Tessie's courage and service in search of a more just community where education and opportunity are available to all.

The Catholic Future Foundation of Northeast Nebraska (CFF) offers a means to support religious and educational missions within the Archdiocese of Omaha, its parishes and schools. Donors may make specific or general gifts directly to the CFF to support Catholic programs operating under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Omaha.  Donors have the option to make cash gifts, gifts of securities, gifts of property, life insurance, annuities and other approved gifts.  If you wish to use one of these options, please contact Bonnie Nebuda, Stewardship & Development Foundation Officer at blnebuda@archomaha.org or 402-557-5659.

Gifts to the CFF are tax deductible, as the CFF qualifies as an organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

In addition, the CFF manages endowment and other restricted funds for Omaha Archdiocesan parishes, schools and ministries and ensures that those funds are invested in ways that are consistent with Catholic values.
