The Catholic Renewal Center's Mission is to stir into flame the grace of Pentecost within and beyond the Church, calling forth the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit used to build up the Kingdom. This mission seeks to broaden and deepen the understanding that baptism in the Holy Spirit is the Christian inheritance of all.
We help animate the Holy Spirit in the life and breath of the Church calling forth the gifts given by God to build the Kingdom focusing on healing of all those suffering physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We provide assistance to the parishes in this healing work particularly for those grieving, divorced, and for families who have members suffering from mental illness. We help spiritually awaken God's people through our ministries. We serve over thousands of people annually.
"I was suffering from wounds that had developed from an abusive relationship I had in college. Even though I had received the sacraments of confession and reconciliation, as well as spiritual direction and therapy, I still experienced prominent wounds and spiritual warfare because of this relationship. I began working with the Renewal Center to receive spiritual direction and intercessory prayer for that specific relationship, and I began to see the Holy Spirit allow my heart and soul to fully heal. Sometimes, all we need is a little vulnerability to allow the Holy Spirit to work as an intercessor through individuals who are trained in the area to pray with us. The Renewal Center and their services were a catalyst for my healing, and I have seen Christ work with me every step of the way."
