The Catholic Center at UGA

A nonprofit organization

"Help Us Help Others!"

We believe that Christ invites us into wholeness, healing and freedom. He offers this to us. It is available and it is real. So many of our students and community members are struggling or over-burdened from life's challenges. These are not simple challenges. We need your help in assisting them.

This year, the Catholic Center at UGA is raising funds for our counseling scholarship. This counseling scholarship originated in 2021 and we currently spend $13,000 per year in scholarships. I have personally witnessed the drastic growth and flourishing of so many due to this program. The scholarship is this: for those who are unable to pay for quality mental health services, we cover the cost. We want to see them thrive, rather than merely survive. The Catholic Center has a relationship with Holy Family Counseling Center and Transfiguration Counseling. These two organizations approach therapy from a professional standpoint while also understanding and assisting within the Catholic context. They are reputable and we've had a lot of success working with them. Your support goes a long way as it truly impacts the well-being of others.

You are truly 'helping us help others.'
