Who We Are

Our Mission 

The Catholic Center at the University of West Georgia exists to accompany college students and young adults on their journey toward sainthood by forming them as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ. Rooted in the sacraments, prayer, and authentic friendship, we foster a culture of encounter with Christ, nurture deep spiritual growth, and equip each student to joyfully share the Gospel through a life of holiness, service, and evangelization. By intentionally evangelizing and caring for young leaders, we strengthen the Church and society for generations to come.

Our Vision 

To see a generation of college students and young adults on fire for Christ, living as saints in the world, and transforming campuses, parishes, and communities through the joy of the Gospel. We envision a culture where every young leader is deeply rooted in faith, formed in holiness, and sent forth as a missionary disciple, impacting the Church and society for generations.

Every Sunday, every Bible study, every moment in Adoration — lives are being transformed. Young men and women are encountering Jesus Christ in a profound way, growing in holiness, and discovering their calling to share the Gospel with boldness and joy. They are the future priests, religious sisters, catechists, teachers, parents, and parish leaders who will shape the Church long after our time on this earth has passed.

• Create a spiritual home where students are rooted in the sacraments, prayer, and authentic friendship.

• Equip young leaders to live as Spirit-filled evangelists, impacting campuses, parishes, and communities.

• Build a culture where every student is cared for, accompanied, and challenged to grow toward sainthood.
