WHO WE ARE

The mission of CNU's Catholic Campus Ministry is to bring Christ to the Campus of Christopher Newport University. Rooted in the Sacramental life, the CCM nourishes the spirits of students who witness the Truth of the Church to the world, and walks with them as they answer God's call to greatness. 

In service of this mission, our students are formed as Catholic witnesses through quality Faith Formation programming.  This year we hosted an overnight Fall Retreat, began a monthly men's and women's night program, and increased the number of regularly attending students at our Sunday Suppers by 10%. These events help equip our Catholic Captains as disciples and evangelists as they walk with Christ through college and beyond.

Our ministry is rapidly growing through God's grace. We are currently seeking to improve our CCM House, where most of our ministry events take place, to provide a more welcoming space for students to gather. Our goal is to create a comfortable "home away from home" for our students as they seek to grow closer to the Lord.
