Ascension Catholic School

This Giving Tuesday, we humbly ask for your support in helping Ascension Catholic School improve a variety of our outdoor spaces.  Our focus this year is to expand our Mary garden with new landscaping and seating to create a welcoming environment for reflection, prayer, and thoughtful discussions.  In addition to the work that our landscaping company will do for this, an alum is restoring the rosary stones in the garden.  Along with this goal, we are hoping to add tables for extra seating at the front of the school and next to our playground.  These tables will facilitate student group work, organization activities, staff lunches, CYO gatherings, etc.  

This year’s Giving Tuesday will benefit all ministries that utilize the Mary garden as well as spaces surrounding the building.

Any contribution, big or small, will help us create a more welcoming environment for all who gather in these areas.  If the school reaches 75% of families participating this year, the students will be given an out of uniform, “Cozy Day,” on Friday, December 5th.  We are also recognizing the class that has the most participation to be rewarded with a cookie party scheduled by their homeroom teacher.  Thank you in advance for considering a gift that will benefit our ACS family.  

Important Dates:

• November 17th- Advanced Giving (online) begins
• December 2nd- Global Giving Tuesday!
• December 9th- Donation giving closes at 11:59pm
  • Cash and checks may be turned into either Parish or School offices until December 9th.  Please note Giving Tuesday or iGiveCatholic in the memo line.
