The goal of this day is to rally our Catholic community in support of the organizations that shape our souls: Our parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries. Who We Are

The Church of the Incarnation is a Catholic parish primarily serving the residents of far northeast DC and Prince Georges County. The Parish began in 1912 as a mission of St. Margaret of Scotland, and the first parish church was built in 1914 on Browning Place NE. The parish was placed under the care of the Society of St Joseph in August 1924. In 1932, St. Joseph's, then located in Glenarden, was assigned to Incarnation as a mission. In 1957 Incarnation moved to its current location at 880 Eastern Avenue NE. Today the parish continues to fulfill it's mission of sharing the Gospel message, and to honor the legacy of its beginnings, by making Christ present to the African-American community.
