Cristo Rey Miami opened in 2022 with a bold vision: to give hardworking students from communities underrepresented in higher education a clear pathway to college and career success.

Through our unique model, students spend four days in the classroom and one day each week working in Miami’s top companies through the Corporate Work Study Program. They earn most of the cost of their education while gaining real-world skills, confidence, and purpose.

In just three years, results are clear: math proficiency rose from 43% to 84%, language arts from 65% to 84%, and 97% of students are exceeding expectations across 60+ partner companies. Cristo Rey students nationwide are twice as likely to earn a bachelor’s degree as their peers.
