Daughters of St Paul

For over 50 years, Jesus has been living in a convent bookstore on Veterans (across from Clearview). The chapel offers his Eucharistic presence, while the bookstore offers his Word in a variety of formats to respond to the questions, desires, hopes and needs of the people who visit or call. And the convent? Well, that’s home for the #MediaNuns, the Daughters of St. Paul. It’s our mission to use every form of media to bring Jesus to people, and people to Jesus. We sisters not only serve in the bookstore, but we also provide spiritual formation and prayer support online to thousands of people around the the world.

Who We Are

The Daughters of St. Paul is an international Catholic religious congregation founded in 1915 in Italy that lives and works in 52 countries around the world and is dedicated to the apostolate of proclaiming Christ through the use of media. Their motto: "one love, Jesus Christ; one burning desire, to give Him to souls." They share the light of Christ through their Pauline Book and Media Centers, (in the NOLA area, at 4403 Veterans Memorial Blvd.), media education centers, radio programs and internet channels, and related institutions across the globe. The Sisters also put on a coast-to-coast Christmas concert tour that attracts thousands, as well as making themselves available to bring vocation talks, faith formation presentations and lively book fairs to parishes and schools.
