Good Shepherd Catholic Church (Lebanon, Virginia)

Project: Repainting the Exterior – Goal: $2,500
Good Shepherd has been a spiritual home for our community since the day it was built. Families have walked through its doors for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and countless Sundays. But the outside of the church hasn’t been repainted since those early days, and time has finally caught up with the building.
Sun, rain, and mountain weather have faded the paint and worn down the wood. What used to look bright and welcoming now looks tired, even though the faith inside the church is as strong as ever.
This year, we are blessed that the students from Job Corps have offered to do the painting. All we need is to raise the $2,500 to cover supplies and materials. A fresh coat of paint will protect the building, improve the parish grounds, and show everyone who passes by that our church is cared for and alive.
