Holy Cross Catholic Church

Known first as St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, our first church was built in 1843 at 9th and Clay Streets. As our congregation grew, a new church was needed.

Our historic church was dedicated as Holy Cross Catholic Church at the corner of 7th and Clay Streets on September 14, 1879. Today, over 800 households worship at, and call Holy Cross their home.
