Holy Family Catholic School

Originally established as St. Joseph School in 1903, then a name change in the 1981, Holy Family Catholic School remains a beacon of light in Lafayette, LA for Catholic education and is the only school in the Lafayette Diocese boasting a 99% minority student population. Our small school once on the verge of shutting down in 1999, once again stands strong on the pillars of faith and freedom that God provides in all circumstances. Thankfully, HFCS is building new facilities, growing young minds, and cultivating the hearts of young believers. From the era of Jim Crow’s dire candlelit classrooms to modern funding mechanisms of publicly funded faith-based education, Holy Family Catholic School pursues its mission to serve the talented, and capable youth of Lafayette Parish and surrounding areas.
