Immaculate Conception Church

Thank you for visiting our #iGiveCatholic Giving Day page! As you know, 2020 has been a challenging year!  This challenge has provided us a wonderful opportunity to re-imagine how to "be and do Church”.  Unable to gather together, we have celebrated Mass in our homes, outside in our playground and in the parking deck (and of course in limited numbers in our Church).  We have used technology to bring our community together.  We know that people have a desire to connect with one another.  They miss their brothers and sisters in Christ. Your gift will help us to improve and expand our efforts to connect our community.  Thank you for your generosity!

 

Who We Are

Immaculate Conception is a Roman Catholic community in downtown Durham pastored by Franciscan Friars. We are a multi-cultural and stewardship parish called, gifted, and sent to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, parish-wide faith formation, our parish school, pastoral care, and living the church's social teaching.

Vision: From our worship to our world in the spirit of St. Francis, Immaculate Conception will be a grateful and giving parish making a difference in the lives of others by living the love of God.
