Renewing the Rectory Kitchen

This year, our #iGiveCatholic campaign will focus on a much-needed renovation of the kitchen in the parish rectory.

After many years of use, the kitchen has reached the point where repairs are no longer enough. The metal cabinets are rusting, the countertops are deteriorating and beginning to fall apart, and the space is simply ready for renewal.

The rectory is more than a residence. It is part of the parish campus and has served generations of priests who have called Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish home. It is also a place of hospitality, conversation, meals, and fellowship with parishioners, clergy, seminarians, and guests.

Through this year's #iGiveCatholic campaign, we hope to replace the aging cabinets and countertops and make the other necessary improvements to provide a clean, functional, and welcoming kitchen that will serve our parish for many years to come.

Last year's generosity showed what we can accomplish together. Through #iGiveCatholic and additional gifts from our parishioners and community, the funds needed for our parish ramp repairs were successfully raised. This year, we hope to build upon that same spirit of generosity as we care for another important part of our parish home.
