This Giving Tuesday, join hands with Catholic Charities to support the Individual & Family Assistance (IFA) Program. Our mission is to make a real impact in the lives of families facing housing challenges and financial hardships. With your generous support, we can provide rental assistance, utilities support, and other critical resources that help families maintain stable homes and access the essentials they need to thrive.

⚠️ The Challenge

The IFA Program receives an overwhelming 250 requests each month from families struggling to keep a roof over their heads and the lights on. Due to limited resources, we are only able to assist 38 families per month on average, with support ranging from $200–$400 per month per family.

The gap between need and available support is substantial — and that’s where your generosity can make a world of difference.

👪 Who We Are

The Catholic Charities Office of Individual & Family Assistance helps low- to moderate-income families who are able to live independently but experience financial crisis due to unforeseen events — like job loss, illness, death of a spouse, or unexpected repairs.

In addition to financial support, we provide guidance and resources to help families navigate other challenges, including:

• Filing for Social Security Disability
• Free income tax preparation and e-filing during tax season
