Louisiana Right to Life

Louisiana Right to Life is the pro-life voice of our great state! Through education, public policy, service, and activism, we advocate for unborn babies and their mothers, those with disabilities, and the elderly.

Pro-Life Highlights from 2024:

Our youth education efforts reached 15,800 students through pro-life presentations in schools, PULSE pro-life youth retreats, our pro-life college exhibit and more!

We passed 6 important pieces of legislation, including the Abortion by Fraud Criminalization Act, the Louisiana Pregnancy and Baby Care Initiative Act, and the Adoption Awareness Act! The Abortion by Fraud Act protects women from predators looking to harm them with chemical abortion pills. The LA Pregnancy and Baby Care Act provides a record 4 million dollars to moms and babies up to a child's third birthday! And the Adoption Awareness Act creates a new state program that advances adoption across Louisiana.

We distributed baby supplies to nearly 500 families in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, providing mothers and babies $12,000 in critical material aide: diapers, wipes, formula, and baby soap.

Louisiana Right to Life was referenced or featured in over 74,000 local and national media outlets and even more on social media!

Our FindHelpLa.com website was searched for and used by an average of 96,789 viewers so far this year. This doesn't include thousands of flyers, drop cards, and brochures that have been handed out state wide!

We also:

• expanded adoption educated and reached nearly 2,400 people since September 1st!
• distributed over $26,600 to pregnancy centers and adoption agencies through our Choose Life License Plate Grant Program.
• reached nearly 79,000,000 motorists through our pro-life billboards across South Louisiana, from Lake Charles to Slidell!
