Lourdes Central Catholic

Lourdes Central Catholic is a preschool through 12th grade school located in Nebraska City.  We provide students with a rigorous academic core, engaging enrichment programs and variety of extracurricular activities, allowing them to achieve their full potential. With a focus on faith life, tradition, and excellence, Lourdes is committed to developing the whole person - mind, body and spirit. The Lourdes Central Catholic School "tradition of excellence" began over a century ago.  In 1861, Saint Benedict's Parish, with the assistance of the Benedictine Sisters from Pennsylvania, founded a parochial school known as Saint Benedict's School.  

The mission of Lourdes Central Catholic School is to assist parents in the development of their children by providing a Christ-centered environment that promotes spiritual, academic, and social growth to prepare students for active participation in the Church, in their families, and in society.

Our passion for our students and our mission is sometimes overshadowed by the reality that without funding, it would be impossible to accomplish our goals. We are sincerely grateful to all our benefactors and volunteers who give generously to support our school.
