Thank You to all who support us during iGiveCatholic. If you'd like to make a donation early, you can do so on Loyola's website here.

Loyola New Orleans Catholic Studies welcomes gifts that would help us cover the costs of our Catholic speaker series, meals for students, retreats, and pilgrimages! Each week, a growing number of undergraduates join Catholic Studies students to study, pray and grow in the faith. Your gift will allow us to continue to expand our programming and grow the program. Thank you!

Who We Are

Loyola University New Orleans, a Jesuit and Catholic institution of higher education, welcomes students of diverse backgrounds and prepares them to lead meaningful lives with and for others; to pursue truth, wisdom, and virtue; and to work for a more just world. Inspired by Ignatius of Loyola's vision of finding God in all things, the university is grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, while also offering opportunities for professional studies in undergraduate and selected graduate programs. Through teaching, research, creative activities, and service, the faculty, in cooperation with the staff, strives to educate the whole student and to benefit the larger community.

Mission of Catholic Studies

The mission of Catholic Studies is to form young men and women in the mind of Christ and the heart of Jesus that they may be totum et integrum, whole and entire (1 Thess 5:23), equipped to offer themselves courageously in the service of Christ, the Catholic Church, and the whole world.
