Mount Carmel Academy is a private, all-girls Catholic high school for grades 8–12 in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. It is conducted by the Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who have educated young women in New Orleans since 1840. A Mount Carmel education challenges students to think critically and develop a love of learning, while giving each student the freedom to grow from mistakes and become the person God intends her to be.
