Welcome to our #iGiveCatholic donation page! The goal of this day is to unite our Catholic community to Give Back and Give Catholic in support of the organizations that have been there for the faithful for generations: our parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries. All donations received by our organization during #iGiveCatholic will be used to make a difference in the lives of the countless brothers and sisters we are called to serve in our community and help us build the body of Christ. Nativity BVM Catholic School is asking for donations toward our Guardian Angel Fund, which provides much needed assistance for families who choose Catholic education but struggle to afford it. 

Who We Are

Nativity BVM School is a Catholic elementary school located on the MS Gulf Coast. The faculty & staff, under the leadership of Mrs. Traci Kessler, make it their mission to educate each student's mind, body & soul. Our current school was founded in 1956 but we trace our beginnings back to Sacred Heart Academy founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1875. We have been supported the past three years during #iGiveCatholic by generous donors who allowed us to purchase over $5,300 new library and AR books, as well as add 3 new water bottle filling water fountain stations inside and outside out school!

This year, as we continue to mourn the sudden passing of our beloved Sister Mary Jo Mike, we are turning our attention to our school chapel. As one of the only Catholic schools not located beside a church, our school chapel plays a very important role in the Catholic formation & religious education of the children who are present at our school for more than 8 hours a day. Our chapel needs some TLC and we are hoping you can help us our in order to dedicate it in memory of Sister Mary Jo Mike.
